Everything technical in one place: how assistants and your own code authenticate, how to call the server directly, the named prompts and every tool with its parameters. Setting up Claude or ChatGPT? The main docs have the steps.
Assistants sign in with OAuth: you give them the address, sign in to Reader Radius, choose the pen names they can use and approve once. There's no client ID or secret to paste, and that includes ChatGPT, which uses its own address. Apps that can't sign in, and your own code, use an API key.
One connection per app
Each app you approve is its own connection, so disconnecting one doesn't affect the rest. Disconnect any of them on the Connect your AI page. A client ID and secret still work for apps that ask for one; create them under Advanced on the Connect your AI page. The API key is one per account: replacing it disconnects every app that uses it until you update them.
Pen names
The MCP plan includes one pen name. With several pen names on the dashboard plan, send X-Profile-Id with the pen name's id, or pass profileId to a tool. aa_list_profiles lists the ids.
Your own app
Call the MCP endpoint over HTTP with your API key. Start with initialize, then tools/list to see every tool and its input schema.
Five ready-made prompts run the Reader Radius publisher playbook in your assistant. Each one hands your assistant the playbook first.
plan_my_launch
Plan 30 days of book marketing for a launch, then schedule week one once you approve.
Arguments: title, launch_date (optional)
plan_my_week
Review the last seven days and what's scheduled, then plan and schedule next week.
monday_review
Last week's results in under 200 words, with up to three suggested changes.
set_up_lead_magnet
Readers comment a keyword and get your free download by DM. The rule starts paused.
Arguments: magnet_name, download_link
amazon_ads_checkup
Keep, watch or pause each Amazon campaign, based on the last 14 days.
The playbook itself is the resource readerradius://playbook, and aa_get_playbook returns the same text for assistants that don't load resources. aa_whats_next checks your account and suggests what to do next.
ChatGPT may not show these prompts. If you don't see them, paste the starter prompt instead.
